Terrifying thought of the day

So you’ve got your fancy productivity system in place and humming along. Let’s say you’re rocking the GTD. You’ve got your thoughts; you’ve turned them into action items; you’ve got your index cards all annotated; everything’s gravy. But what if, and this is the terrifying part, the original idea is just flat out wrong? Or stupid? Like really stupid. Like so stupid that one minute of the google-fu is all it takes to prove how stupid it is and how everyone else has already figured out how stupid it is. It’s enough to keep you up at night.

And how do you tell someone that the idea is that stupid even if it’s already in their system? Dunning-Kruger rears its ugly head again. Let’s make the google-fu the first action every time, shall we?
