Welcome

To start, I won’t claim to be an expert about GIS, science or data visualization. I find all three areas fascinating and the points where those three intersect – well, if that doesn’t get your inner geek on, we should probably part ways here. 

This won’t be a latest and greatest GIS news aggregator (see http://slashgeo.org or any of the many blogs that do a great job) and it won’t be a “How To” blog. Beyond that, we’ll just have to see where it goes.
